About Autumn crocus
Crocus speciosus, also known as the autumn crocus or elegant crocus, is an autumnal gem that emerges with intense violet flowers, often with darker veins and bright orange stamens. Unlike spring crocuses, it blooms in autumn, offering a burst of color when most plants begin to decline. Care tips
Plant the corms in a sunny to partially shaded location. It prefers well-drained, humus-rich, and slightly acidic soils.
