About Nut grass
Cyperus rotundus, commonly known as purple nutsedge, is a perennial herbaceous plant from the Cyperaceae family, considered one of the world's most problematic weeds due to its aggressive rhizome and tuber system. It features triangular stems and slender, linear leaves growing from the base. While an invasive species in many regions, in its native habitat it can be found in moist areas and is valued for its medicinal and edible properties in some cultures.
