About Spekboom
Portulacaria afra, commonly known as 'Elephant Bush' or 'Spekboom', is a perennial succulent shrub native to South Africa. It is characterized by its reddish stems and small, fleshy, bright green leaves, reminiscent of elephant ears. This versatile plant looks splendid in xeriscape gardens, as a bonsai, in hanging baskets, or as ground cover in warm climates.
